gfxCardStatus is an open-source menu bar application that keeps track of which graphics card your unibody, dual-GPU MacBook Pro is using at any given time, and allows you to switch between them on demand.
Actually, I believe this is a Mac OS thing, but I wanted to raise awareness and ask anyone else on here if they're seeing the same. Maybe they could log it also.
It results in significantly reduced battery life when undocking, and the only way I know of fixing it is to reboot.
This on a OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock. Thankfully gfxcardstatus was installed and I noticed it!
