Hi all. Apologies if this is the wrong place but I am struggling to find
somewhere for help.
I am using an external Alfa 1000mw adaptor and backtrack 5r2 . I have tried my
own networks and cannot seem to get reaver to work.
Until now I have never used backtrack or any Linux
I have tried a few networks but always get different errors. On one network it
tried 3 pins then a wash command showed the wps was then locked.
Sometimes it just keeps changing channel.
I have not installed any drivers for my adaptor as I read it was plug and play
with backtrack. Should I install the CD drivers?
I am confused about Mac spoofing also. Will this help me ? I know how to do it
via --mac command but what Mac should I use . do I just make one up?
