In editing a post, I noticed that the following transformation is made by WordPress:

This text is followed by two hyphen-minus characters-- nothing fancy

Likewise, we have three hyphen-minuses here--- so basic

into

Would you consider it in-scope for this add-on to allow disabling this transformation?

*It does seem that this conversion itself is being done by wptexturize…
