Need to create a filtering / preprocessing step for two dimensional spatial input. Visual data should obviously use standard retinal algorithms (on-center, off-center excitation/inhibition zones).
One dimensional scalar/vectors should continue to use existing fractal SDR generation methods. May need some slight tweaks (spirals, etc.) to bring them in line with 2D spatial data.
