Yep, we definitely need to resolve the video dependency issues, especially on platforms like Windows and mobile where it is more difficult. We can add it to core setup
, but we need to figure out some way to add it to the packaged binaries for end-user deployment. There are some issues with the upstream video library we are using, and we may end up forking it, folding it in, or using something else, which could help resolve these issues. I will look into this more soon.

I guess we could add this to the core setup command ?
Its a runtime need though not a compile time need, so the other way is for the core setup command to pull down the lib for the OS, and then the build command to embed libAV into the golang compiled app and then unpack it at init time.
Really curious what path you want to take on this..
Of course for Web andMobile we need a slightly different solution .... Happy to dicusss..
