Joomla Users and Customers #30

I cant say this is an issue, more of a possible feature request. I have read through the previous posted issues and from my own tests I see that registered users are not automatically created as customers. Is it possible to have the ability to sync up user names to the otrs system?

Hi

At the moment, we don't have a direct means of syncing Joomla users with OTRS customer users. GitHub issue #11 is open as a feature request for this.

We're considering two mechanisms for this:

  1. Provide a full OTRS customer user source package that reads live user data out of Joomla
  2. Provide a sync plugin in Joomla that pushes user data to OTRS's DB customer user source on user registration and user update

At present though, we haven't scheduled in a timeframe for this feature.
