Define mime types with file extensions #10

If these things aren't defined early, I'd expect that developers will rapidly come up with a variety of ways of requesting transit-encoded data in their flavour of choice. To prevent the possible interoperability problems that that would cause, could you please publish a table of standard file extensions and mime types for the various transit encodings?

The spec includes MIME types at the very bottom. We did not define file extensions.

Yes, realized that after I posted. Anyway, I do think file extensions would be useful, too.
