I looked into your backend; it's definitely an impulse issue and not an impulse-web one.

I'd honestly be happy with some way for me to shoe-horn weird DNS crap into the zones some way; russ and I were looking to add geo-ip magic dns options that block both on the inability to create cnames or a-records to csh-external addresses and the inability to insert new weird record types.

I know he needs to add some stuff to the BIND config for it to work, but that is outside the scope of IMPULSE at this time.
