improving backward compatibility for package building (re-esatblished the old behaviour ‘make package’)
limiting build time usage using manually triggerered pipelines (versus automatical ones)
The second point was made considering the time constrains existing with the ‘free policy’ used for the Coin3D collection (only 50' minutes a month).
So now for building the Ubuntu, Fedora and all the eventually distro packages added in the future we’ll have to manually trigger.
The mercurial local revision number is used as package build number with no reference to the branch the package is built from. In order to avoid potential collidions in the ‘Downloads’ directory, packages should be triggered always from the ‘default’ branch.
