This implementation of the cpack.d is done through external mercurial sub-repository. The main points in flavour of this change are:
project packaging is keep outside the project coding
same sub repo used on all the projects (just add the sub repo) i.e. the same fedora or ubuntu configs now can be used in every project, without modifications
much simpler to maintain
successfully tested on the following projects:
simage
Coin
Quarter
SoQt
SmallChange
The origin sub repo is hosted on https://bitbucket.org/ggabbiani/cpack.d/src/default/ but of course can be moved inside the Coin3D collection if usefull. Consider anyway that it is not ‘limited’ to Coin3D project, but instead it can work with any CMake project supporting the runtime,development and documentation components in any combination.
