Compatability with Microsoft and Win 7 Isssue #16

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copying files t/from mounted directory under windows 7
2. Opening file from mounted directory in word
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Files are not copied correctly, they are corrupted. Similarly open word files
don't open from remote dir, but if you copy the file local disk with something
like filezilla it works

What version of the product are you using?
0.0.1.4

win-sshfs:
Client OS: Win 7 64 bit
Server OS: Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit
Ssh server: Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry I thought I replied.

I tested the version in the attachment, but unfortuneately that did not work
either. I thier it on pdf files and .pptx. Both were corrupted by transfer. The
office version is 2010.

Try this. When you write and read the files send me the log file created in
same folder as .exe. Whats you connection speed to server. Do you save the
files from office or just drag them to folder?

Ok, That version seems to work.

Sorry this is a bit embarassing. I suspect the original test version you gave
me worked as well, but for some reason the old non-working version on my system
was still starting up. Doing a uninstall seemed to fix this.

I hope this hasn't wasted too much of you time. Do you still want the log file?
