[Arch Linux] Do not close Steam to change users. #32

Firstly, thank you for the work, I use Acolyte on Windows and Linux.

On Arch Linux it is not closing Steam to change users, when clicking on a different user nothing happens. I need to manually close Steam so I can change users later. On Windows it does everything automatically.

Is this a problem here or is there something that needs to be changed in Acolyte?

Hug!

Hi @procobain,

I'm sorry you experience problems. This kind of problems occuring is not entirely unexpected, as I have not used acolyte in some time because steam now has a somewhat reasonable builtin account switcher that allows to switch users without having to re-enter passwords/2FA (see also #31). I'm not sure it's worth fixing acolyte at this point. What is your experience with steam's builtin account manager?

@coldfix I didn't even know that Steam had created this, I'll try it here...lol

Thanks for your help, big hug.

@coldfix Hi, friend, please, don't give up on acolyte, I using it in this momment and it is being so useful to me, Steam account limit is sh1t! Just for you to see it, I connected 9 accounts for me, 9 accounts that I actually use. Acolyte is the only program for Linux that do it, for Windows people have alternatives, but we, linux users, we need you! Screenshot_20240420_113843
