Steam always ask for the password #9

Hi, can it be that this method no longer works or am I doing something totally wrong? Steam always asks for the password. No matter whether I set the check mark at "Remember my password" or not, no matter if I quit Steam per Exit button or Acolyte.

Edit: It seems it's a problem with Steam here, as the remember password function generally doesn't work.

Thats the full log from starting acolyte, clicking the steam account and exiting steam and acolyte:

I guess the problem is on my side, cause I see error messages there - but I don't know what they mean.

Hi,

it still works for me, but it relies on Steam's own ability to remember logins. So if that is broken for you, acolyte won't have a chance to work either.

So, I recommend that you first get Steam by itself working correctly, and then check acolyte again. I would start with removing the ~/.steam and ~/.local/share/Steam folders.

(But be careful to backup any data such as save games/screenshots that you only have locally!)
