Not detecting composite #1

Write to terminal "** Message: The circular-main-menu only works with
composited desktops." upon run, but I have compiz working.

I'm using Fedora 8 with compiz 0.7.3 (ATI fglrx driver).

Changed the displayed message
"The circular-main-menu only works with composited desktops."
to
"The circular-main-menu only displays correctly with composited desktops."
gdk_display_supports_composite() sometimes reports that compiz isn't available 
when
it is.  I've just had a look at the documentation for the API and it states...

Currently this only works on X11 with XComposite and XDamage extensions 
available.
