libgnome-desktop-2 version greater than one listed, yet says its lower! [Debian Lenny]

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. sudo dpkg -i  circular-application-menu_0r22-1~getdeb1_i386.deb

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to install however it throws out error:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of circular-application-menu:
 circular-application-menu depends on libgnome-desktop-2 (>= 1:2.22); however:
  Version of libgnome-desktop-2 on system is 2.22.3-1.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using 0r22 on Debian Lenny (could be Lenny itself, however haven't had
trouble installing anything else!)

Please provide any additional information below.
Really like this project - want it to work out!!

Workaround...

use dpkg -i --ignore-depends=libgnome-desktop-2
circular-application-menu_0r22-1~getdeb1_i386.deb
