Bro if you can't take the time to format your error message (don't worry, I edited it...) how do you expect me to care to look into this.
I'm sorry it wasn't readable at all. Thank you for adjusting.
Looks like something (CopyFile2) isn't supported in Wine perhaps. https://source.winehq.org/WineAPI/kernel32.html -- I'd suggest checking with the wine folks or the python folks who added this change: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/1d3cf79a501a93a7a488fc75d4db3060c5ee7d1a/Modules/_winapi.c#L2934
Looks like this commit is the source of the change: https://github.com/python/cpython/commit/cda1bd3c9d3b2cecdeeba0c498cd2df83fbdb535

No worries, it happens most often with low-effort driveby issue openers and has become a pet peeve of mine. Nothing personal!
Hi all.
I'm on Ubuntu and have python installed inside wine. When installing peewee via pip, I run into the following error during metadata preparing by pyproject.toml. Same happens when I try to install pysqlite3. It crashes in Python 3.12.3 and 3.12.4 and worked fine with python <= 3.11.9. Is there any workaround to get the package installed?
