Iphone crashing when trying to reply to SMS text message.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. on receiving a SMS then tapping the line which pops the keyboard up
2. The app crashes and go back to home page.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

the keyboard should pop up but instead the SMS reader crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Iphone 1.1.1 jailbroken  iphone sim free.

Please provide any additional information below.

 I have been trying 3rd party apps and it stared going wrong after demoapp
and fieldtest appeared on the main home screen.... I have uninstalled every
thing and done a full reset of the iphone. 

Also the same thing happens when trying to reply to email. 

Other phone functions work fine

This is due to carrier lock by apple for different country and carrier. This is 
the
same thing happen with me while in order to unlock my 1.1.2 phone i did not use
anySIM, it was fully unlock after the 1.1.2 jailbreak.

But due to apple new security system i was not able to call or sms etc.

I unlocked using anySIM 1.2  on firmaware 1.1.2 and  baseband 04.02  but  the  
phone
and the  sms  crashes, any IDEA on  how to solve  this  thank you no ATT

you need to patch the country code for appsupport (which country your are) and 
then
you have to manually made simlink for your carrier. See
