The live stream doesnt work. The log when i try live stream any camera blink xt2:

LiveView Stream: immis://35.157.41.85:443/WfY6H-L5W5y8TdUh__IMDS_841406296?client_id=173

Same here

Check the release notes. Live view for immis streams doesn't work inside of HomeKit. It's only available as a hacked prototype in the CLI (Command Line Interface). Use bin/blink --help for more details.

  • Added new CLI for convenient debuging and other automation (see: bin/blink --help)
  • Added liveview support (CLI only) for new cameras that use immis:// protocol instead of rtsps:// (specifically: mini, XT2, new indoor, new outdoor cameras)

Hi @colinbendell , actually I have an older XT and the log says: LiveView Stream: rtsps://lv2-app-e002.immedia-semi.com:443/pg3aQhZBpSy9kM1k__IMDS_671013048?client_id=224&blinkRTSP=true listening on 0.0.0.0:42269 [Security Camera] [Video] ffmpeg exited with code: 1 and signal: null (error)

haqueresidence commented 3 years ago

I can confirm that upgrading to 3.6.1 broke the live view. My cameras are first generation XT. HomeBridge log shows:

[Security Camera] [Video] ffmpeg exited with code: 1 and signal: null (error)

Reverting back to 3.5.17 fixed the problem.

Thanks. I'll look into it this weekend.

I am having the same issue, for me reverting to previous version did not work. It did use to work before though.

can you confirm if the first gen hardware continues to work in livepreview in v3.7?

Hi colin, i bought the new gen xt cameras https://www.amazon.es/nueva-blink-outdoor-camara-de-seguridad-hd-inalambrica-y-resistente-a-la-intemperie-con-2-anos-de-autonomia-deteccion-de-movimiento-1-camara/dp/B086DKVS1P/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_es_ES=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=blink&qid=1613983329&sr=8-1

and returned my old xt2 cameras.

Do you know if the new cameras are compatible with live preview?

Thanks Colin! ;)

colinbendell commented 3 years ago

sadly the newer hardware uses a non standard RTSP stream that I've partially decoded. However, at this time, liveview doesn't work with that hardware

roboterm commented 3 years ago

at this time

sounds like it may work in the future?

Kragothius commented 2 years ago

Nothing changed yet?!

Arelav commented 2 years ago

@Kragothius this open source. You always welcome to contribute if it's urgent.

Hi, can you explain how can I do that please? I have mini and I want to see liveview.

Same here. Had this working previously but can't get it to work again with downgrading to previous versions. When I downgrade it asks for 2FA pin but unfortunately it doesn't send a pin with older version, only if I upgrade again to newer version again.

For me, I can confirm version 3.7.0 is not live-streaming anymore. It seems that no matter which version I install now, they all seem to say FFMPEG exit code 1.

I just got this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SG2MS3V?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

The only thing I can't get to work is video stream... I don't see any errors so I am assuming an update to the device might have killed the ability.. anyone have thoughts? Firmware is 12.60
