You can enable or disable the privacy mode on each camera through the settings. You can also disable privacy mode all together in the homebride settings.
Privacy mode is convenient for those that share the use of the 'home' app. When the thumbnail shows up in a common area there is a perception that even household members are creeping. But this is optoinal.
Colin,
Thanks for getting back so quickly but I’m not sure what you mean. I’ve got privacy mode enabled in homebridge so I’d assumed it applied to all cameras where else is it set(see attached)
I can’t see anything for individual cameras.
Ah ignore that I’ve just worked it out, there is a switch associated with each camera, for some reason that one is ticked off.
thanks
This behavior has only stated sine the last update and does not appear to be causing any issue. I’ve got 7 blinks all connected to the same controller. All are working and connected. However 1 shows a picture of the room (from the blink app) rather than the privacy notice. See attached (note the upstairs is a ring camera). I must say I quite like it doing this, if they all did it I think it would be better than the privacy notice). If I click it it it does the live view and on closing this the live view picture is visible for a few seconds then returns to the previous still picture shown on the attachment.
