Blink mini issues (Is this git dead?) #86

Hello,

I noticed that there hasn't been an update for months, but anyway.. for what it's worth.. It seems that the blink cameras have issues. I try to tap the camera in the home app and it can't connect to see the live view or anything.. The snap shots work, but the intervals we input seems to not change anything.

Also motion sensing doesn't work. I don't think anything else works besides taking snap shots during intervals..

Another note.. The camera has a built in speaker so you can talk. Will this be added to the features? Thank you..

I noticed the same things as you. Would love to know if development is still underway!

I ended up returning it and got Eufy cameras...

Remember that Colin is doing development on this on his own time and for free ;-)

I'm ended up keeping my Blink system because of his work !

fwiw, I don't have a blink camera and only have original blink cameras to test with. The later generation blink cameras use their own non-standard RTSP protocol which I haven't fully been able to decode (admittedly, the last time I tackled this was a year ago).
