Adding contributors? #167

@colinskow I've noticed that Superlogin isn't maintained properly any more. There are quite a couple of open issues and pull requests. Are you open to adding contributors?

I'd like to volunteer myself, I'm one of the developers of Doodle3D (github). We've been using Superlogin for quite a while for our Doodle3D Transform app. We've been running a fork because of issues like: https://github.com/colinskow/superlogin/issues/162. I'm not really a backend developer, nor do I have security expertise, so I'd be mostly accepting low risk pull requests.

Is anyone else interesting in helping out with the maintenance?

HI Peter,

I am definitely open to adding contributors. I apologize that I haven't had the time to maintain it properly lately. At the bare minimum I should do a round of the most important bug fixes.

What you could help with for now is identify the most important issues and list them here.

If somebody comes forward who is very knowledgable in the field of authentication who is interested in taking this project over completely, I would seriously consider it. Another idea is to find corporate sponsors or bounties for the most important issues. Funding would allow me to make more room among my other paid projects.

Is it on patreon? I'm always happy to put $ where my usage is. It's a shame how little love a ton of libraries get.

Something we could suggest to GitHub in my opinion.

Some people put a Paypal donation button in their readme but would be nice to have something integrated in GitHub.

We definitely need to add contributor. This library is starting to feel completely abandoned.

I'm afraid I can't take on the responsibility anymore, my work for Doodle3D has ended

This project seems to be broken (couch-pwd is broken too), but these forks looks like they are working: https://github.com/sen-su/superlogin, https://github.com/sen-su/couch-pwd

Any thoughts on recruiting sen-su?
