1 year ago I think it makes a lot of sense to upgrade easyform since it contains a lot of functionality and has many plugins that could still work in a volto world. form-block is still very basic in comparison.
- unlike form-block you would still have a content type for a form but that doesn't mean you can't have a embed-easyform-block that allows you to put multiple forms onto other pages
- you should be able to make all fields blocks so you can have much more flexible form layouts.
- on save you write out a XML schema based on the block json?
- it might be a lot of work to make all teh validations client side but you don't have to do in a first version. You could just do a quicker fix where validations are done dynamically but via api calls so the logic is still serverside
- all the actions go into form settings?
We maybe yet still tackle this with upcoming upgrades but interested if anyone else is considering this?
Just wondering if there's been any thought around how easyform could work in a Volto world?
