Relation to rer.cookieconsent #7

There is a stable product which does practically the same thing: https://github.com/PloneGov-IT/rer.cookieconsent

What's the reason / advantage for this package?

I did today an evaluation between both projects.

collective.disclaimer did meet my requirements better, as it's simpler (it's just a disclaimer title and text compared to an additional dashboard plus privacy link text/url) and does not provide the opt-out options (whatever they are). rer.cookieconsent ( https://github.com/PloneGov-IT/rer.cookieconsent/ ) looks like it's built around very specific requirements which did result in a relative large project.

I do not have those requirements and prefer simple solutions.

I like disclaimer's approach of showing the disclaimer again as soon as the text has changed.
