Nothing happens when clicking on the Save button in the control panel configlet

When I click on the Save button after changing settings, nothing happens.

The JavaScript is somehow broken as well. It insists I must check some checkboxes that clearly are optional.

No network requests are triggered (certainly not the POST event).

Nothing shows in the JS console either.

Reloading the page shows nothing got saved.

I'm using Plone 6 alpha 4.
