Document the availability of the `setup` method #34

Would be great if the usage of setup was documented in the README as it took me reading through issues to find that it was available. Some note or example would be helpful to new users.

Closing in favor of #51 which will completely rewrite the readme for version 3 (to be released from the v3 branch).
