Feature Request: Make hide setting persistent

I've just started using this applet and found the following behavior a bit unintuitive:

• I click the applet icon and select 'Hide notes' (German: 'Notizen verbergen') from the menu. Now all notes are invisible, there's no note in the foreground and also none on the desktop.
• I click the applet icon again: The menu opens and all notes are now visible in the foreground
• I click the applet icon again: The menu but all notes are no longer in the foreground but still visible on the desktop and cover some of my icons there

I would have expected, that notes become completely invisible again. I suggest to make the 'Hide notes' setting a toggle switch, so that you can select how your notes should behave by default. When this option is active it should behave like this:

• Clicking the applet icon opens the menu and makes all notes visible in the foreground
• Clicking the applet icon again closes the menu and makes all notes completely invisible again

I also have just started using Sticky-notes, and I do like it very much, but I'd like some buttons on each note like most windows have - to hide; x to delete in the top corner of the note. Clicking the applet icon should toggle hide/show ALL notes.
