Accent keys on sticky notes make computer freeze... #20

Whenever I try to write text with special diacritics, e.g. "ü" (diaeresis key + u) or "é" (acute accent key + e), my computer freezes. I then have to forcefully shut it down. Then, when I turn the computer back on, I get a black screen, so I have to forcefully shut it down again. Only after turning the computer back on for the second time does it work normally again. And the text that I was writing on the sticky note is lost... Any solutions??

My keyboard doesn't support those characters, so I can't fully test that issue, but I can't reproduce it by copying and pasting those characters into a blank note.
