The search feature fails. It will only find a folder in the parent directory you are searching in, and will not find any sub folders or files.

Plus extremely slow to search, and always gives no results.

Cinnamon 2.8.6 Nemo 2.8.6 Ubuntu 15.10

It seems to work fine for me on Mint 17.2 with Cinnamon 2.8. What versions of GNOME and python are you using? It could be a change in one of those...

Python 2.7.10 GNOME Shell 3.16.4

It just hangs and produces no results. What does it use to search?
