[Bug Report] unable to open some smb:// folder #3

How to repeat this bug: 1.bookmark a folder/sub-folder under smb://ip@username/sharefolder 2.click the folder in this applet 3.Bug: no folder opened( and no error reported in LookingGlass)

I will make a double check of this bug later when I can access with my smb:// folder again.

Thanks for you applet,I really like this, and it save a lot of time for me.

I think the problem comes from keyring(or some other password protection process) For example: I can access the smb share folder when using nemo(the keyring will popup), but have no response when clicking the same folder in the applet.

@highwindmx Sorry I didn't respond to your first post - for some reason GitHub didn't give me a notification about it. It sounds like your issue is due to the Cinnamon bookmarks api not being able to handle smb folders with a password. If that is the case, this is actually a Cinnamon issue, since my applet uses the same function calls as the Cinnamon menu applet. I don't think there is much I could do about it on my end without some serious hacking. It would be much better to do this in Cinnamon instead. I'll look into the issue more when I get a chance, but I don't know very much about smb or the keyring, either, so I am probably not the best person to handle the issue either.

Let's leave it open for now. If nothing else, it will remind me to look into it eventually.
