"Username invalid" when connecting to ZNC with multiple networks #3685

Hello,

the way recent versions of the most popular bouncer ZNC works is that when it's set up with multiple networks, the client selects which network to connect to by specifying this in the username. E.g. if the bouncer has set up networks "freenode" and "quakenet" for a user "user1", one uses the username "user1/freenode" to connect to the set up freenode network.

See here: https://wiki.znc.in/Connecting_to_ZNC

However in Colloquy, the / character seems to be invalid. Could we allow this character for the username field, so that Colloquy can connect to ZNC bouncers? :)

Hi, I'm also using the znc bouncer and it works fine with the / character in the username. Could you try if you have this issue with the 2.5 Preview build as well? http://alex.speanet.info/stuff/Colloquy_7002_with_Bouncer_99.zip

@akempgen I can confirm that it works in this preview build! I'm looking forward to the final build.

What is ETA of v2.5?

hopefully before HL3 ;-)
