Goals for Players - Screens + Scenarios

Summary

• This issue is for the implementation issue that will be created shortly. The design was made based on the feedback given here: https://github.com/colonistio/design/issues/189#issuecomment-1296722996
• research was also done in the previous issue

EDIT: adjusted the design based on the feedback of Demi via DM

Screens

• adjusted card design based on feedback. removed card design and applied current naming conventions on game mode names

Guest / Accounts with less than 5 finished games

• both of them will show: Finish 5 games to play Ranked regardless if guest

Placement Games

• Current format: Finish 10 placement games to unlock (icon)
• After finishing 10 placement games: Well done, claim (icon) as a reward!
• size of icon: should be around 24px or 1rem so height will be the same with the text
• After finishing the placement/game reward challenge we can retain our current homepage screen where there is space between profile stats and the game mode section: https://prnt.sc/C3i0vK5W8XbV

Clicking on "Claim" CTA

Narrow Screen Breaks

• maintain progress bar length. (same with CTA) adjust card bg to two lines of text if necessary

• [x] How can we make the claim CTA obvious? Changing the copy to state the reward with a Claim on the right side will let the players know that the item what item is to be claimed. Other games also do this approach
• [x] what are the cons of this feature? it adds another layer in the homepage, play v bots and lobby players won't be eligible on most challenges if we would only use it for ranked games which could mean wasted space for some players
• [x] This submission abides by Des-lvl-1, Des-lvl-2 & Des-lvl-3

• clicking on the sign in link will direct the players to the current login form we're using

New player

• after finishing the new player challenge. the next time the player reloads the homepage, the challenge should show Placement Games reward challenge

• After finishing the placement/game reward challenge we can retain our current homepage screen where there is space between profile stats and the game mode section: https://prnt.sc/C3i0vK5W8XbV
• We can also create new challenges after this as well. Creating something like win 50 ranked games and get 1000 coins to possibly boost player retention
