Mobile - Invite Users

Goals

• Easily get players to invite their friends
• Easily get players to join their friends games

Needs

• User wants to invite friends in whatsapp, telegram, discord groups..
• User wants to click telegram link and join -> not sure how technically possible it is
• User wants to enter room id and join
  • User wants to find the joining option easily without searching the whole app

I think you will need a custom protocol handler for this.

However, deep links to individual screens of an app never seem to work and social graphs are hard (even big games like Clash Royale barely use friend systems, other apps completely avoid that) which is why many apps resort to invite codes which are universally used in the same way.
