more looking like outdated info in metadata:

https://github.com/colouring-cities/colouring-core/blob/24733619f20fb162aaaf6d7b0f89a1a8ddeacfa2/app/src/frontendRoute.tsx#L105

Colouring ${config.cityName} is a knowledge exchange platform collecting information on every building in London, to help make the city more sustainable. We’re building it at The Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London.

"We’re building it at The Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London." is outdated, right? Should it be kept/removed/edited?

Also, how

platform collecting information on every building in London, to help make the city more sustainable

should be phrased? Right now it would give say

Colouring Athens is a knowledge exchange platform collecting information on every building in London

for Athens which is clearly unwanted.

But

is a knowledge exchange platform collecting information on every building in Britain, to help make the city more sustainable

also seems bad (Britain - city, ignores rural areas).

I have no obvious ideas for better phrasing

So it should be

'Colouring Britain (changeable) is a research-led, free public resource, providing open spatial data on Britain's (changeable) buildings. It is also an open knowledge initiative, built collectively by, and for, citizens, academia, government, industry and the third sector.

right?

Hi @matkoniecz here is full text @polly64 Member polly64 commented on Jan 3 • We are revising the CCRP common introductory text here. Please could you either add cany comments below or add ok if you are happy with it, thanks

''Colouring Britain (changeable) is a research-led, free public resource, providing open spatial data on Britain's (changeable) buildings. It is also an open knowledge initiative, built collectively by, and for, academia, communities, government, industry and the third sector. Any information you can add to our open platform is greatly appreciated.

Colouring (X) forms part of the Colouring Cities Research Programme (CCRP), managed by The Alan Turing Institute https://www.turing.ac.uk/research/research-projects/colouring-cities-research-programme (changeable) which allows international academic institutions to co- work on a global network of interoperable open data platforms on national building stocks, and to accelerate sharing of resources and expertise. The CCRP's overall aim is to help improve the quality, efficiency, resilience and sustainability of buildings, and urban areas, and to accelerate the move to net zero in line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

All [data collected](e.g https://colouringlondon.org/data-extracts.html) and code are free to download, use and share under open licence terms. Our open manual also provides non-technical information for anyone interested in our research.

@polly64

We have also location where shorter text would be needed (<meta property="og:description" content=").

It is

Colouring ${config.cityName} is a knowledge exchange platform collecting information on every building in ${config.cityName}, to help make the city more sustainable. We’re building it at The Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London."

now

would

Colouring ${config.cityName} is a research-led, free public resource, providing open spatial data on ${config.cityName}'s buildings. It is also an open knowledge initiative, built collectively by, and for, academia, communities, government, industry and the third sector. Any information you can add to our open platform is greatly appreciated.

be a good fit for short one?
