Serialize state of display #341

This is a feature request to serialize Exhibit's current display so it can
be bookmarked and reviewed later.  The architecture for this does not
exist, so it's very likely a major undertaking.  Once serialized, it could
be made into a URL fragment or a cookie or something else that can be
stored in a database for future retrieval.
