labels for bandsaw blades

As you may have read on Telegram last night, several new (or replacement) bandsaw blades for the Metabo BS 1638 W are in the mail and should be coming soon :-)

Let's store them better than before (Anita already lowered the wall holders) and mark them with durable & informative labels!

What I had in mind:

• similar size as currently
• laminated paper
• string loop to hang them on a folded blade
• fields for each of the values in the wiki table ** could be a printed property list on the left with manually added values on the laminate (by permanent marker, correctable with alcohol)

Who would like to prepare a printing template and make a couple of blank labels?

I can probably take a look at the current size today and prepare something. Might take until next weekend to get things to the space though, but I have something to laminate paper at home.

Then I'd print, cut and laminate them. I don't really took a measure. Those are 7x10 cm, which might be a little bigger than the existing ones.

Awesome, thank you! That size should be fine, it doesn't need to be an exact copy and looks close enough :-)

"Tooth size" is not really measured though ("Zahnweite" is just a different way of writing the pitch, it only has a separate table column for sortability).

How about this order: width - tooth pitch - kerf - min radius - tooth shape - materials?

Sorry, I only thought of this now that I saw it written down... "Width before pitch" is how the shops label their blades, the ordering in the wiki table can be changed accordingly :-) The "kerf" column is empty at the moment, but will be measured when we fill out the labels!

If you have a duplex printer, "ID" and "status" would be nice to have on the other side. But we could just as well write those by hand if it would complicate things!
