Participation request sometimes does not end up as Registration Pending #328

Reported in camelyon17, at least 3 users who requested to participate did not get the correct status.

This was most likely an error in the sign up flow, users were confused that signing up to the site does not sign them up for the challenge. Made the process more explicit so you have to read rather than blindly following links. In the future, it would be nice to combine the two steps.
