Isn't a valid override of... #284

Bug description

In my generated graph_ql.graphql.api file I see "Isn't a valid override" errors in a lot of places so I can't run my app. The error looks like this:

The problem seems to be, that node is already defined in a parent class and that's because in the graph ql query a node {...} statement is nested in another node {...} statement like this:

Any ideas how to solve this?

Okay I solved it by naming every key that occurs more than once. For example:

        ...
    }
    ...
}
...

This should really be documented somewhere.

I'm struggling with this also - naming each field doesn't seem like a scalable answer

You just have to name the fields that are lower in the tree and have the same name as a field in an ancestor object. In the response from the the GraphQL api the fields are also renamed so you have to adjust your model serialization if you have any. So yeah this should be improved.
