Additional formatting cleanup and additional routine docs added

I'd like to continue to provide (usually) weekly updates to this doc just for the sake of continuous improvement even if the changes are not substantial. Would this cadence be okay or would you prefer that I collect more substantial updates before opening future pull requests?
