Need to pick Team Member to lead each Phase

We have four phases: Requirements, Analysis, Design, and Implementation. We also have four group members. We need to pick a group member to be the leader for each phase.

Does anyone have a preference as to what phase they'd like to take?

Team/Phase Leader Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Phase being turned in complete and on time.
• Responsible for pestering, cajoling, convincing, and motivating everyone to contribute and work on the project during that Phase.

The sample proposal broke it down into these categories:

• Specification and Implementation
• Presentation
• Analysis
• Design

Let's get clarification tomorrow as to what the four phases and team-leaders he wants are.

My understanding is that the work was to be based on a four-phase Waterfall model with 2 phases this semester and 2 next. During the Requirements phase, we submit this project proposal, maybe another assignment. Then we will have to create a Specification document and/or extract the classes in the Analysis workflow in the second portion of the semester.

Next semester is design workflow, where we do the detailed design, and the fun part.

There is no Presentation phase in the Waterfall workflow despite what is in the sample proposal. Nor in the UP.

It is possible that the professor used a less than perfect sample proposal or that I am wrong. We should ask tomorrow.

I was under the impression next semester was completely focused on the implementation, and this semester was completely focused on the requirements, specification, and design.

I asked Professor Chen today for clarification on the Phases.

• The Phases in the sample proposal are not really correct.

• We will do the four Phases of the Waterfall model:

  • Requirements
  • Analysis
  • Design
  • Implementation (next Semester)

• We need a team leader for each of these phases
