Generalised the URL passed to make_github_request(...)
Added new method that obtains the latest commit info. For whatever reason info on the last 2 commits is returned by github, we take the first of these [0] as it's the most recent based on the results I've seen in testing.
The results are not yet stored in the dataframe and similarly not exported yet.
