Pepper-Box is kafka load generator plugin for jmeter. It produces kafka messages of type plain text (JSON, XML, CSV or any other custom format) as well as java serialized objects.
And clean up the codebase by merging and closing this branch into master. The master for the upstream project has one commit I've not integrated as it adds several parameters I've already implemented AFAIK. We're likely to make further changes to both the Producer and Consumer and I'll see about integrating those changes with ours at an opportune time.
