[Feature] Locally change other users names and avatars (petnaming/pet avatars) #276

I've heard this called "pet names" and "pet avatars" on Element's GitHub so I think thats the right name, but basically, the idea is to be able to set your own local name or avatar for someone else.

Would be especially helpful now that I realise that my bridged contacts using Beeper bridges are having unidentifiable usernames

It would be a cool feature, tho using it to fix the bridge issue isn't necessarily the right way to go about it - do you know if the bridge does publish correct user display names? If it does and commet just is not getting the name properly, that's really a seperate issue in itself

It works perfectly on element and its not working on ANY bridged conversations not just facebook, but only in Commet

Would you mind opening a separate issue for bridged names not working properly, I'm in some rooms bridged with Slack which seem to work, so any information you can provide would be great!

anyway that was an aside lol, main point is petnaming and pet avatars would be good to have
