WMDE seems to be collecting problems and needs for geoinformation related things in Wiki. I thought some people here might have ideas and would be interested to share them. If that's the case, feel free to add your ideas in the following wiki:

Side note: I wonder if we should give GitHub Discussions as it sounds suitable for things like this. Or is there already another place that I'm missing? 🤔

GitHub Discussions looks awesome for our purpose IMO, although it is still in beta. The benefits are that we can declutter our issues system, but there could be the downside of people needing to check both (and probably some will not). Personally I feel that the benefits exceed the downsides. What do you think @nicolas-raoul @neslihanturan ?

I think we can use "discussion" like tag and share them in here, issues. Othwerwise some discussions may be missed.

Does GitHub Discussions provide email aliases? If not then GitHub Discussions can not really replace Google Groups, it just spreads discussion venues.
