What public goods does this community support or will they support in the future?
The community will provide business infrastructure for independent workers. This translates into access to tools, work equipment, insurance, savings accounts and access to complementary services to their professional line of work.
Who are the people, DAOs and other organizations already part of this community?
The community is a group of people with economic sustainability and focus in professional support to third parties, already connected to the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in México and Latam.
Why do you think this community needs a Commons?
Independent workers require access to means of production that are collectively owned. The objective is not to make a profit in itself but to build an infrastructure that can be sustainable over time and can be increasingly accessible (to people in marginal contexts) as it is mutualized among more and more people.
What other resources do you have that will make your Commons deployment a success?
We have experience in distributed governance and social impact models, which allows us to pay attention to the specific agreements built between individuals in a team; generating patterns that can be useful in a generic way but can be adapted on a case-by-case basis.
