SASL setting does not stick #108

If I check the "SASL" box in Freenode's settings and click OK, and then open it again, the box is unchecked. Near the beginning of the connection messages, I see

[21:04:18] [904] SASL authentication failed
[21:04:19] [904] SASL authentication failed
[21:04:20] [906] SASL authentication aborted
