Éric Gauthier runs the Galerie du Moineau écarlate in Paris, which brings together spontaneous, off-the-wall creations, uneducated voices, the fruit of visionary destinies... He also makes short videos in which he interviews so-called "brut" artists about their relationship with money. "Cash - Cut to the Quick" is the filmic result of this approach. In front of his camera, a dozen French and Belgian artists talk, in cash terms, about their work and the material conditions of their creation. These interviews are accompanied by comments from Céline Delavaux, author of "L'Art brut, un fantasme de peintre".
Screening followed by a discussion with Éric Gauthier and Céline Delavaux.
