Dashboard for Restaurants #27

I've made a mockup of the "dashbord for restaurants" at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ym9seZHDKcEMqub7Q18-JCBlWQa4bkRh7dT73_KotYA/edit . It proposes to structure info as follows:

  1. home page (where you can toggle between restaurants if you have multiple restaurants)
  2. payment info (set up stripe)
  3. order processing (the main, go to place where most of the time will be spent)
  4. restaurant info (infrequently edited)
  5. create and manage menus
  6. subitem within menu that allows creation and management of items on the menu

I wonder for the initial release if it would be simpler to just have a single menu, but I'm guessing that having multiple menus, some of which are hidden, allow for swapping them out as things evolve.

GrubHub uses this same layout for user accounts.

While I believe most of the restaurants will be more likely to make updates from a computer here's a reference for this same screen on mobile.

We just put an initial draft of this interface up on the testing environment. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Thanks Justin! I've added some comments in the attached PDF. I realize this isn't as easy to manage as individual issues, but I thought I'd add my thoughts in a single document, and then we can create individual issues as needed. Hope this is helpful; happy to clarify as needed.

Thanks! PDF is fine. I'll answer the questions from the PDF, as I think most of them are already in the works:

Thanks again @loretta-t ! Incredibly helpful.
