Update integration tests

Update integrations tests to use the new-ish Noetic containers, updated/cleaned up docs accordingly and also reduced the steps required to attach/detach a tool.

I branched off of some-refactoring branch, so, once that is merged, this will be based on main and only then, the tests will run on github.
