This was done to prevent the error: Could not find value for key log4j.appender.EMAIL
@sdumitriu said that there used to be a definition for the EMAIL logger but Marc (@mfiume) removed it. I'm not sure if removing it is the best solution. I am a Google Summer of Code applicant looking to work on the pathway analysis app with Asha, and would like to be able to run and play with MedSavant. Thank you.
