Login using wrong password sometimes #324

Sometimes, the login process complains that the password is incorrect after attempting to sign in. When brought back to the login page, the bulleted password field has more characters than it should, indicating to me that it might be using the hash of the password to login. I'm not exactly sure how to repeat this, but both Ron and I have experienced it.
